Cookie settings

One choice, and it takes effect the moment you make it.

Your choice

Measurement

Counting page views and how quickly pages load, so we can see which pages are worth improving. No cookies, and nothing that follows you to other sites.

Checking your setting...

The same control is on the small button in the bottom corner of every page, so you never have to come back here to change your mind.

What is not on this page

There are no other switches, because there is nothing else to switch. No page you can reach sets any cookie: no advertising, no social media, no session tracking, and none of the ones most sites describe as strictly necessary. Turning measurement off leaves nothing running. A private area used to answer enquiries does keep a sign-in session, but it is not part of the site you are reading.

The one thing stored on your device is the answer you give above, so that we do not have to ask again on every page. We also keep a note of that answer on our side, because the law asks us to be able to show consent was given, and a note held only in your browser proves nothing to anyone else. It records the choice, the date and which version of the policy it applied to, and nothing that identifies you.

Where to read the detail

What measurement actually collects, and what it deliberately does not, is set out in our cookie policy and privacy policy. Withdrawing here is as easy as giving it, which is the point.
