Performance, SEO and accessibility
Sometimes the site is not the problem, its condition is. It loads slowly enough that people leave, search engines cannot read it properly, it cannot be used with a keyboard, or it is quietly one library behind a known vulnerability. All of that is fixable without starting again.
What this covers
Redesigns of dated sites
Brought up to date without losing the pages, links and search rankings you already earned.
Migration away from legacy platforms
Moving off a platform that has become a limit, with the content and the URLs kept intact.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
Pages that load and respond fast enough that people stay, measured on real visits rather than assumed.
Technical SEO
Making a site legible to search engines: structure, metadata, sitemaps and the errors nobody ever sees.
Accessibility, including the European Accessibility Act
Usable with a keyboard, a screen reader and poor eyesight, which for many businesses is now the law.
Security hardening
Closing the gaps that get sites defaced or data leaked, before somebody less friendly finds them.
How we approach it
Measure before changing anything
A number first, so there is something to compare against afterwards. Work that cannot be shown to have helped is indistinguishable from work that did nothing.
Fix causes, not symptoms
A slow page usually has one real reason and several theories about it. We find which one it is rather than applying every optimisation and hoping something lands.
Protect what already works
Existing pages, links and rankings are an asset that took years to earn. Redirects and structure are planned before anything moves, because a redesign that loses your traffic was not an improvement.
The rest of what we do
Tell us what is not working
Describe the problem rather than the solution. Working out which part of this applies is our job, not yours.
